Ability and knowledge of working effectively with people with mental health problems or other disabilities.
Ability to lead, motivate and encourage (including group leading, training and coaching skills).
Ability to break down objectives to manageable components and maximise the potential for member participation.
Ability to recognise the need for crisis intervention and initiate where appropriate.
Experience of multi-agency liaison, including employers.
Understand and be able to implement the equal opportunities policy
